COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Safety Comes First

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

On June 11, 2021, Governor Andy Beshear marked his final regularly scheduled COVID-19 briefing and also lifted the statewide mask mandate for most settings and ended capacity limits for restaurants, bars and other public venues. Adjustments made to our protocols reflect our efforts to safely service in accordance with the CDC and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services.

MANDATORY SCREENING UPON ENTERING THE BALLROOM HOUSE

  • Temperature check.

  • Pass the Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire.

  • Sanitize hands.

  • Bring only necessary items into TBH. Keep personal items stored away in a cubby provided.

  • Masks are not required, however highly recommended for Ballroom & Latin dance.

ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL

  • Hand sanitizer is required prior to every dance partner change. Sanitizers with clips/necklaces are provided to ensure ease when transitioning partners.

  • If a person shows any possible symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, they will be asked to leave the facility immediately.

  • Group lessons are offered with a variety of safety protocols to serve our community.

PRIVATE LESSONS

  • Your instructor will greet you with a mask on, then personalize your safety protocol.

  • All objects touched by both student and employee will be sanitized prior to each private lesson; following current CDC sanitization guidelines.

  • Lessons may run up to 5 minutes late in efforts to properly sanitize between students.

  • We have an additional ballroom available to serve to those who are most vulnerable and in need of additional safety measures. Be sure to request Studio C everytime you schedule your appointment; including weekly standing times.

  • It is hazardous to perform extreme exertion in an N95 mask. We ask that you pay extra attention to how you are feeling during your lesson. Your instructor will accommodate your lesson plan to be less strenuous.
